Position Description:
The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of OBGYN is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (APRN) to provide primary or specialty medical care within a defined scope of practice under the supervision of a licensed physician, in accordance with MCW/FMLH/CHW policies and procedures. The APRN will be responsible for the physical, mental, and emotional care of patients during delivery, including prenatal and postnatal education, examination during pregnancy, and assisting in creating birth plans. The role also involves ensuring the health and well-being of both the newborn and mother during delivery.
The Ideal Candidate will be an RN with Women's Health experience, professionalism, strong communication skills, and collegiality, eager to join a collaborative academic practice at MCW. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care in a blended setting.
