Job description

Certified Nurse Assistant

Position at Singing Hills Surgery Center (north of San Antonio in Comal County). We have 2 OR rooms and perform outpatient surgical procedures in Orthopedic, Pain Management, and Spine. The role requires weekdays only – no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule is subject to change based on the surgical schedule and flow of the day.

Responsibilities

The CNA duties will include stocking recovery room bedsides, dressing patients, walking patients, assisting patients to the bathroom, answering call lights, answering phones, and assisting RN’s as needed. This role will also include transporting patients into the vehicles once they are discharged, screening questionnaires, cleaning/making beds, wiping down bedside areas, preparing linen bags if needed, monitoring food supply level, stocking nourishment area, and reporting when food needs to be ordered.

Qualifications
