Job summary

CoxHealth, a leading regional health system, invites motivated caregivers to join the 800 Neuro-Ortho unit. In this role you will assist nursing staff with essential patient care, take vitals, help with activities of daily living, and report patient changes promptly.

Training and mentorship will be provided through the Nurse Assistant Training Program. The unit operates in a fast-paced environment with a strong culture of teamwork, compassion, and patient-centered care.

While in the clinical learning environment, will provide basic patient care under direction and supervision of clinical educator and nursing staff. During clinical rotation, may perform duties such as taking vitals, bathing, dressing, moving patients, changing linens and other duties within their scope of practice as directed. While in clinical setting, obtains information on patient condition as requested by the nursing staff or clinical educator and reports any changes in patient condition.
