St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our TCU 3S Unit located within the Ft. Thomas Hospital. The RN will provide evidence-based nursing care in a Cardiac Telemetry Stepdown 23-bed unit, working full-time from 7A to 7P.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, with collaboration across disciplines and delegation when needed. Excellent patient care and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited School of Nursing.
• If eligible, must have a Compact (multi-state) License in their primary state of residence.
• Licensed to practice nursing in the state where work is being performed.
• Meets contact hour requirements for licensure, including all state-required courses.
• Focus of education promotes nurses’ ability to practice in clinical area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based clinical care to designated patients using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to other licensed and unlicensed health care team members.

Shift/Hours: Full-Time – 36 hours/week, Day Shift 7A-7P

Job Description

The licensed registered nurse is a professional nurse who is responsible and accountable for providing evidence-based clinical care to designated patients utilizing the nursing process. This is accomplished by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care according to established ethical/cultural codes and standards of nursing practices and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes. The registered nurse is responsible to delegate tasks appropriately to other licensed and unlicensed health care team members.

Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
