The instructor will teach both didactic and clinical courses, requiring an active RN license and relevant degree, while providing students with a valuable learning experience in nursing education.
Certified Nurse Assistant Instructor – Adjunct
Salary:
$1375 per credit for didactic/lab, $2065 per credit for clinical
Trinity Washington University is seeking a dynamic CNA instructor to teach the summer 2025 sections of NURS 101 and NURS 102 for the Advanced Technical Center (ATC) Dual Enrollment High School Program within the College of Arts and Sciences. The ATC is a partnership with the Office of the State Superintendent of Education to provide DC high school students with dual enrollment pathways in health sciences. Under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer in the School of Nursing and Health Professions, successful applicants will teach didactic and/or clinical courses in our CNA program.
The adjunct instructor will teach courses at the ATC’s Penn Center, located at 1709 3rd St NE.
NURS 101/ATC 1, Certified Nursing Aide Lecture (3 credits)
NURS 102/ATC 1, Certified Nursing Aide Lab/Clinical (3 credits)
