Job summary

Novant Health's MedSurg2 Innovation Unit in Wilmington, NC seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant for full-time night shifts (7pm-7am). You will join a team known for compassionate leadership, lower turnover, and strong camaraderie as you care for patients with a range of acute medical needs.

You will support nursing staff, help with bedside care, documentation, and patient comfort while learning and growing your clinical skills in a stable, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• NAI program completion required.
• One year of relevant experience; long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Medication Safety - AME; nurse aide registry listing required.

Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Education: High school diploma, required. Completion of NAI program, required.
• Experience: One year of relevant experience, preferred. One year required, Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living
• Licensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program, Required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, Required. Medication Safety - AME, Required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, Required.
• Additional skills preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation.
