Job summary

Henderson Nursing and Rehabilitation in Henderson, KY is seeking Certified Nurse Aide/State Registered Nurse Aide (CNA/SRNA) to join our compassionate team. Positions available full-time, part-time or PRN with 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) and a supportive benefits package.

We offer same-day pay, increased wages, and a commitment to helping residents maintain independence and quality of life through attentive care and teamwork with our skilled staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Prior LTC nursing assistant experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
• Good standing in the state registry required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to call lights and intercom to determine residents’ needs.
• Checks residents who cannot call for help.
• Provides direct resident care: bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Explains procedures to residents.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
