Job summary

MaineGeneral Health is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Alzheimer’s Care Center in Gardiner. The role offers a part-time schedule (32 hours/week) with daytime shifts (6a-2p) and a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 for experienced CNAs.

You will provide person-centered care to residents with Alzheimer’s and related dementias, supporting physical and emotional well-being. Responsibilities include assisting with basic patient care, meeting emotional and spiritual needs,

• Calls codes, pages, and overhead announcements as requested.
• Reports abnormal findings or changes to the nursing staff.
• Assists with keeping unit and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.

To qualify for the bonus:

• Must have one year of CNA experience
• Must accept at least a 30-hour-per-week position
• Current MaineGeneral employees are ineligible; former MaineGeneral employees are ineligible until greater than 1 year of separation from employment

Compensation Information

$19.65 - $34.39

The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
