Job summary

Coweta Care & Rehab is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our team in Coweta, Oklahoma. The position offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for full-time qualifying candidates and competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a state-issued CNA exam.
• CNA certification in Missouri required.
• Six months of long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care.
• Obtain food trays and assist residents with feeding.
• Assist resident with range of motion exercises.
• Provide for personal care and comfort.
• Move residents to wheelchairs or activity areas.
• Assist residents with ambulation for short distances in facility.
• Record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.

Open Shifts:

Days: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Thursday-Saturday with every other Wednesday

Baylor: 6:00 am to 10:00 pm Saturday and Sunday

Essential Functions of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding
• Assists resident with range of motion exercises
• Provides for personal care and comfort
• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distance in facility
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
• Provides direct and indirect resident care services
• Meets the communication needs of resident and family
• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents’ clinical condition
• Performs other tasks as assigned

Qualifications of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

• High School diploma or general equivalency is preferred
• Must pass a state-issued exam
• Required valid certification as a CNA in the state of Missouri
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff
