Jackson Manor is hiring Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) in Missouri to provide compassionate resident care in a senior living setting. Responsibilities include grooming, feeding assistance, mobility support, and monitoring residents with attention to safety.

Full-time opportunities include day and night shifts, with every-other-weekend availability. Competitive benefits, sign-on bonus, and education assistance are offered to qualifying candidates.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a state-issued exam.
• Current Missouri CNA certification is required.
• Six months of long-term care experience is preferred.
• Maintain a valid email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively in emergencies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family and staff.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with grooming, hygiene, bathing and incontinence care.
• Assist residents with feeding and range of motion exercises.
• Answer lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Provide for personal care and comfort and assist mobility.
• Record vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the nursing team.

Available Shifts:

• Days 7:00am - 7:00pm

• Nights 7:00pm - 7:00am

• Candidates must be willing to work every other weekend

Pay, Benefits and Perks of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

• $3,500 sign-on bonus for full-time qualifying candidates

Essential Functions of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs

• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care

• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding

• Assists resident with range of motion exercises

• Provides for personal care and comfort

• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas

• Assists residents with ambulation for short distance in center

• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed

• Provides direct and indirect resident care services

• Meets the communication needs of resident and family

• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents’ clinical condition

• Performs other tasks as assigned

Qualifications of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

• High School diploma or general equivalency is preferred

• Must pass a state-issued exam

• Required valid certification as a CNA in the state of Missouri

• Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.

• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.

• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and center staff
