Job summary

Novant Health's Cardiac Observation team at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC seeks a dedicated CNA for day shift. Join a compassionate, stable, growth-minded team that values patient care, teamwork and community impact.

Position requires a High School Diploma or GED, completion of the NAI program, and state nurse aide registration. Prior long-term care or assisted living experience is preferred; basic computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: 1 year, preferred. 1 year in Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
• Licensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program, required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required. Medication Safety - AME, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
