Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services seeks a Certified Nurse Aide to join Memorial City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Houston, TX as a PRN team member. You will deliver routine daily nursing care to residents under the supervision of the nursing staff.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, feeding, mobility, observing vital signs, and reporting changes to the Charge Nurse per care plans. A CNA license and high school diploma are required or preferred, with LTC experience a plus.

Primary Responsibilities

The Certified Nurse Aide will provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident assessments and care plans.

Essential Functions

• Assist resident in customary daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment such as bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, care of hair, nails, moving residents from area to area, responding to calls.
• Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with resident care policy and procedure.
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned by Charge Nurse.
• Detect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuries.
• Contribute knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans.
• Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes of conditions to residents to Charge Nurse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must hold valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license.
• Experience in a long‑term care facility is preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
