Job summary

Saunders Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for our Weekend Program. You will provide direct care to residents, assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and support a positive, respectful environment.

You will also participate in shifts on weekends and may have overtime opportunities, collaborating with the care team to implement individualized care plans. The role requires current PA CNA certification; prior long-term care experience is preferred,

Qualifications

• Current PA CNA certification required.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to lift and move patients safely.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents, including assistance with ADLs and vital signs.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and positioning as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care.
• Participate in shifts, including weekends and potential overtime.
• Support a positive environment among residents, families and staff.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our team at Saunders Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for our Weekend Program! As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, while also contributing to a positive and supportive environment.

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), vital signs, and other medical needs
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and positioning of residents as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care
• Participate in shifts as assigned, including weekends and potential overtime
• Support the development of a positive and respectful environment among residents, families, and staff
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in the state of Pennsylvania
• Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
