Job summary

Saunders Nursing and Rehabilitation Center seeks a dedicated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for weekend shifts in a weekend program. This role emphasizes high-quality resident care, ADL assistance, and teamwork in a supportive environment.

Residents benefit from weekend coverage with a base pay plus a $4 hourly differential for weekend work, plus flexible 8- and 16-hour schedules. Overtime may be available depending on staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents, including ADLs and vital signs.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and positioning of residents.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care.
• Participate in shifts, including weekends and potential overtime.
• Support a positive environment among residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate on individualized care plans with other healthcare professionals.
