Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for mobile and flexible shifts at Ravenwood in Waterloo, IA. You can choose your hours and travel between Care Initiatives communities within the region to fill open shifts.

As a CNA, you will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health, and provide companionship while supporting the care team. A CNA certification and ability to travel are required, with a minimum of 16 hours per month expected.

Qualifications

• Six months of verifiable CNA experience.
• Active CNA certification.
• The ability to travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within your region.
• Must live in a reasonable driving distance from Care Initiatives communities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide emotional support and companionship while fostering a positive environment.
• Interact with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Conduct routine vital checks and health monitoring.
• Encourage resident participation in recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Adhere to infection control protocols for a safe environment.

What You'll Do & Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
