Job summary

Care Initiatives, via AffiniCare, is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants for mobile and flexible CNA positions across its 43 skilled nursing communities. CNAs can choose full-time or part-time schedules and travel to multiple Care Initiatives locations within their region to assist with open shifts.

CNAs will support daily living activities, provide companionship, monitor health, and participate in therapeutic activities, all while following infection control protocols to ensure resident safety

Qualifications

• Six months of verifiable CNA experience.
• Active CNA certification.
• Ability to travel between Care Initiatives communities within your region.
• Live within a reasonable driving distance to Care Initiatives communities.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).
• Deliver emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Interact with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Provide health monitoring including routine vital checks.
• Encourage resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health.
• Adhere to infection control to maintain a safe environment.

What You'll Do & Key Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Deliver emotional support and provide companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, as well as the healthcare team.
• Provide health monitoring including conducting routine vital checks.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for safety.

What It Takes

• Six (6) months of verifiable experience working as a CNA.
• Active CNA certification.
• The ability to travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within your region.
• Must live in a reasonable driving distance from Care Initiatives communities.
