Job summary

Buckner Retirement Services in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Certified Nurse Aide to join the Stayton at Museum Way community. You will provide routine resident care and support across daily living activities, aligning with Buckner standards of service and compassion.

Responsibilities include rounds, ADL documentation, assisting with meals, hygiene, mobility, and safety. Requires high school diploma or GED, nursing aide certificate and CPR, ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Make frequent resident rounds to check comfort, safety, and cleanliness.
• Maintain compliance with Buckner policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with implementation of the prescribed health care plan.
• Provide care and treatment including bathing, feeding, oral care, ADLs.
• Perform cleaning/sanitary tasks for equipment and spaces.
• Document ADLs, intakes/outputs, and chart information accurately and timely.
• Assist with morning grooming and dining room transitions.
• Change linens and distribute towels as needed.

We are seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to join our community committed to delivering outstanding service to our residents. As a Certified Nurse Aide, you will play an important role in all phases of physical and emotional support that meets or exceeds Buckner quality, service, and hospitality standards. What you'll do:

• Make frequent resident rounds on a regular basis to check the physical comfort, safety, and cleanliness of residents.
• Maintain compliance with Buckner policies and procedures. Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, state and federal laws.
• Assist with the appropriate implementation of the prescribed health care plan.
• Provide excellent, safe services in care and treatment including: bathing; feeding; oral care; intake of food; dressing; care of hair, nails; moving residents from area to area; responding to calls, etc.
• Provide broad range of cleaning/sanitary services, including: emptying and/or cleaning of urinals, commodes, bedpans; showers, wheelchairs and other equipment, timely and proficiently.
• Accurately and timely document Activities for Daily Living (ADL's), intakes and outputs and other appropriate information on charts.
• Wake up residents, assist with morning grooming and move resident to dining room as needed.
• Change soiled and unsoiled linen; distribute clean towels frequently throughout shift.

What you'll bring:

• High School diploma or GED
• Completes and meets required training and certification requirements of Buckner and governing authorities; e.g. nursing aid certificate, CPR.
• Requires ability to use up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20 pounds of force continuously to move objects and/or people.
• Requires bending, stooping, twisting, turning, reaching, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, climbing, kneeling, walking, and standing over 75% of shift.
