Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nurse Aide with good standing.
• Completion of Buckner training and state requirements.
• Ability to assist with daily living activities and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Make frequent resident rounds to monitor comfort, safety, and cleanliness.
• Maintain compliance with Buckner policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with the prescribed health care plan implementation.
• Provide safe care: bathing, feeding, oral care, grooming, and mobility.
• Perform cleaning/sanitary tasks for rooms, equipment, and supplies.
• Document Activities of Daily Living and care data accurately.
• Wake residents, assist with morning grooming, and escort to dining room.
• Change linens and distribute towels as needed.

Job Schedule: Full Time

We are seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to join our community committed to delivering outstanding service to our residents. As a Certified Nurse Aide, you will play an important role in all phases of physical and emotional support that meets or exceeds Buckner quality, service, and hospitality standards. What you'll do:

• Make frequent resident rounds on a regular basis to check the physical comfort, safety, and cleanliness of residents.
• Maintain compliance with Buckner policies and procedures. Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, state and federal laws.
• Assist with the appropriate implementation of the prescribed health care plan.
• Provide excellent, safe services in care and treatment including: bathing; feeding; oral care; intake of food; dressing; care of hair, nails; moving residents from area to area; responding to calls, etc.
• Provide broad range of cleaning/sanitary services, including: emptying and/or cleaning of urinals, commodes, bedpans; showers, wheelchairs and other equipment, timely and proficiently.
• Accurately and timely document Activities for Daily Living (ADL's), intakes and outputs and other appropriate information on charts.
• Wake up residents, assist with morning grooming and move resident to dining room as needed.
• Change soiled and unsoiled linen; distribute clean towels frequently throughout shift.

What you'll bring:

• High School diploma or GED
• Completes and meets required training and certification requirements of Buckner and governing authorities; e.g. nursing aid certificate, CPR.
• Requires ability to use up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20 pounds of force continuously to move objects and/or people.
• Requires bending, stooping, twisting, turning, reaching, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, climbing, kneeling, walking, and standing over 75% of shift.
