Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa, IA, is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for the Acute Rehab unit. This full-time day shift covers 36 hours per week with every other weekend, supporting patient care and ensuring comfort and safety.

Applicants must have an active CNA certification and a High School Diploma, plus BLS within 30 days of hire. You will join a team dedicated to compassionate, quality care and uphold hospital policies and a respectful work environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Certification is required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate support for ORHC Mission and Core Values.
• Follow hospital policies including Employee Handbook and Policy Stat.
• Lead by using your chain of command to raise concerns and suggestions.
• Adhere to the compliance program and report questionable practices.
• Respect others and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Provide a positive first impression with greeting, conversations, transitions, dress code, name badge, and a clean, organized area.
• Be a team player who supports coworkers and recognizes peers.
• Assist in coordinating care and communicating with the healthcare team.
• Take pride in the health center and act as an ambassador for Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

What We're Looking For

Applicants are required to hold a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Certification. Additional requirements include:

• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire. 75+ Hour CNA Certification (must show proof of cert upon hire) required
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required
