Job summary

Sunset Health Care Center is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to join our caring team in Missouri. You will support residents with daily activities, provide personal care, and monitor health needs in a warm, patient-centered environment.

We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time, a $2 night-shift differential, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 yearly, and a 401(k) with company matching after year one. Join us to deliver quality senior care.

Qualifications

• Must pass a state-issued exam.
• Required valid Missouri CNA certification.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.
• Assists resident with range of motion exercises.
• Provides for personal care and comfort.
• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distance in facility.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output.
• Provides direct and indirect resident care services.
• Meets the communication needs of resident and family.
• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents’ clinical condition.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Hiring for 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends:

• Days 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Qualifications of Certified Nurse Aide (CNA):

• High School diploma or general equivalency is preferred
• Must pass a state-issued exam
• Required valid certification as a CNA in the state of Missouri
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff
