Job summary

Springfield Skilled Care Center is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in Missouri to join our caring team. You will assist with daily resident care, including grooming, bathing, feeding, and mobility support, while delivering high-quality service in a supportive environment.

We offer flexible shifts with Days and Nights options, competitive pay, PTO, holidays, and tuition reimbursement. A sign-on bonus of $3,000 is available for full-time qualifying candidates.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Missouri.
• Demonstrated compassion and patient-centered care.
• Ability to follow directions and document care precisely.

Responsibilities

• Responds to resident signals and bells to determine needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, bathing, and hygiene.
• Assists with feeding and meal setup for residents.
• Assists with range of motion and mobility tasks.
• Provides for personal care and comfort, including transfers.
• Documents vital signs and reports changes to nursing staff.

Qualifications of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Missouri

Essential Functions of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding
• Assists resident with range of motion exercises
• Provides for personal care and comfort
• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distance in facility
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
• Provides direct and indirect resident care services
• Meets the communication needs of resident and family
• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents’ clinical condition
• Performs other tasks as assigned
