Job summary

Addus HomeCare is hiring CNAs in the Tennessee area to support seniors and people with disabilities living independently. This entry-level role offers flexible hours, daily & weekly pay options, travel reimbursement, and direct deposit, with a pay rate up to $15.68 per hour.

You will follow care plans, assist with personal care and daily tasks, and help transport clients as needed. The position emphasizes safety and reliability, including background checks and a valid driver’s license, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or one year of in-home care experience.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills and being well-organized.
• Comfortable using electronic devices.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the member and report completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Assist with routine house cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Transport client to appointments and daily errands as needed.
• Assist member with self-administration of medications (no dosing).
• Observe and report any changes in the member's condition.

CNA Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the member, and report on completed tasks
• Support with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.)
• Support with routine house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation
• Transport client to appointments, daily errands, and other locations as necessary
• Assist member with the self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring)
• Observe and report any changes in member's condition

CNA Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or one year of in-home care services experience
• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Reliable transportation, required for member transportation. Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance is required.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions

• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized
