Job summary

Addus HomeCare is seeking an entry-level CNA to support seniors and individuals with disabilities at home. The role emphasizes learning core home care skills, following care plans, and delivering compassionate, life-enhancing service.

The position offers flexible hours, travel reimbursement, and opportunities for growth within a nationwide provider. Daily and weekly pay options are available, along with direct deposit and a flexible schedule to accommodate personal needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or one year of in-home care experience.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation, required for member transportation. Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance is required.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Good communication skills
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized.
• Comfortable using an electronic device.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the member, and report on completed tasks
• Support with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.)
• Support with routine house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation
• Transport client to appointments, daily errands, and other locations as necessary
• Assist member with the self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring)
• Observe and report any changes in member's condition
