Addus HomeCare is hiring an entry-level CNA to support seniors and people with disabilities living independently. This position offers flexible hours and learning opportunities in quality home care, with pay up to $15.68 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or one year of in-home care services experience.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized.
• Comfortable using an electronic device.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the member, and report on completed tasks
• Support with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.)
• Support with routine house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation
• Transport client to appointments, daily errands, and other locations as necessary
• Assist member with the self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring)
• Observe and report any changes in member's condition

CNA Responsibilities
