Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily care and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality service.

Responsibilities include personal care, environment maintenance, safe mobility assistance, vitals recording, positioning, and engagement activities. Texas CNA certification is required; strong compassion for the elderly and disabled is essential.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas.
• Able to accurately record information and perform technical procedures.
• Strong communication, self-discipline and patience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: assist with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare and dressing.
• Maintain Resident Environment: change linens and stock grooming supplies.
• Support Mobility: safely ambulate and transfer residents with devices and proper body mechanics.
• Record Vital Information: document vitals, weights, intake/output and meals.
• Assist with Positioning: turn and reposition residents for comfort and safety.
• Encourage Engagement: lead ROM exercises and provide reality orientation as directed.

You’ll play a key role in supporting our residents with daily care while working closely with the care team to provide high-quality service.

In This Role, You Will

• Maintain Resident Environment: Change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked
• Support Mobility: Safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics
• Record Vital Information: Accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption
• Assist with Positioning: Turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety
• Encourage Engagement: Lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed
