Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking a reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily care and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality service.

The role requires excellent attendance, compassion, and accurate documentation of vitals, intake/output, and meals; you will assist with grooming, transfers, positioning, and mobility while upholding patient rights and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Texas Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Ability to record information accurately and perform basic procedures.
• Clear communication, self-discipline and patience are essential.
• Care for elderly and disabled individuals with empathy.
• Understand and uphold Patient Bill of Rights and employee responsibilities.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: grooming, bathing, pericare and dressing per care policy.
• Maintain Resident Environment: change linens and stock supplies.
• Support Mobility: assist with ambulation and transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Record Vital Information: document vitals, weights, intake/output, meals.
• Assist with Positioning: turn and reposition residents for comfort and safety.
• Encourage Engagement: ROM exercises and reality orientation as directed.

In This Role, You Will

• Provide Personal Care: Assist with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing, following care policy guidelines
• Maintain Resident Environment: Change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked
• Support Mobility: Safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics
• Record Vital Information: Accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption
• Assist with Positioning: Turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety
• Encourage Engagement: Lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed
