Job summary

Person Memorial Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time Days shift in Roxboro, NC. You will perform basic patient care under RN supervision and support department workflows to ensure quality patient experiences.

The role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and adherence to unit standards while providing essential daily living support to patients. BLS certification is required, and CNA certification is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• High School diploma preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possible blood glucose measurements, and accurate intake/output recording.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, ambulation).
• Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms and common areas clean, safe, and appropriately stocked.
• Manages the tech desk; supports nursing/physician staff and department throughput.
• Documents care and activities per unit standards.

Requirements
