Job summary

Kemp Care Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate daily care to residents and collaborate with the care team to maintain high-quality service.

The role emphasizes attendance, multitasking, and professionalism. Responsibilities include personal care, environment maintenance, mobility support, vitals recording, positioning, and encouraging engagement with residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Texas Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Must be able to accurately record information and perform basic procedures.
• Strong communication, self-discipline, and patience are required.
• Compassion for the elderly and individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: grooming, bathing, pericare, and dressing.
• Maintain Resident Environment: change linens and stocked supplies.
• Support Mobility: assist with ambulation and transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Record Vital Information: document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meals.
• Assist with Positioning: turn and reposition residents for comfort and safety.
• Encourage Engagement: lead ROM exercises and provide orientation as directed.

We’re seeking a reliable and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team! This role requires strong attendance, multitasking skills, and a professional, cooperative demeanor. You’ll play a key role in supporting our residents with daily care while working closely with the care team to provide high-quality service.

Your Impact as a Certified Nursing Assistant

In this role, you will:

• Provide Personal Care: Assist with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing, following care policy guidelines

• Maintain Resident Environment: Change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked

• Support Mobility: Safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics

• Record Vital Information: Accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption

• Assist with Positioning: Turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety

• Encourage Engagement: Lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed
