Job summary

Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital - Chandler is seeking a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) for full-time night shifts, schedule 3x12, 5:30pm–5am. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, mobility assistance, and patient safety as part of Lifepoint Health’s network.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care tasks including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Provide general nursing support such as positioning, lifting, turning, and using equipment.
• Assist with toileting needs and move patients safely to the bathroom.
• Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and intake/output; document promptly.
• Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer and maintain a clean, safe environment.

How you'll contribute

A Certified Nursing Aide (CNA)who excels in this role:

• Perform basic patient care tasks including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Provide general nursing support such as positioning, lifting, turning, and using special equipment.
• Assist with toileting needs using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation to the bathroom.
• Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure, and intake/output measurements accurately and document in a timely manner.
• Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer, ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment with attention to ventilation and lighting.
• Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, including handling of patient belongings.
• Answer patient call lights, phones, and pages, responding promptly and appropriately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Arizona state CNA or LNA license and completion of a nursing assistant training course.

Additional requirements include
