Job summary

Priority Management is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join Camelot of Broussard, LA. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities to promote independence and dignity, while maintaining safety and comfort in a supportive setting.

Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, mobility assistance, and responding to call lights, under the direction of the charge nurse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have current Nurse Aide certification.
• Must be in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
• Ensure resident safety at all times.
• Provide bathing, grooming and basic personal care.
• Follow the resident assignment schedule as directed by the charge nurse.
• Assist or feed residents as needed.
• Keep residents clean, dry, and well-cared-for; provide incontinent care.
• Create a supportive, protective, and safe environment for residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living in order to promote resident independence and dignity.

Essential Functions

• To assure resident safety.
• Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, nail care of any residents assigned
• Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse
• Lift, move and transfer residents as required
• Answer call lights in a timely manner
• Assist or feed residents
• Keep resident clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent care
• Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents
• Other duties as assigned
