Priority Management is seeking a compassionate Nurse Aide to work at Colonial Oaks Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Bossier City, LA. The role focuses on assisting residents with daily living activities and promoting comfort in a caring, safe environment.

The successful candidate will follow schedules set by the charge nurse, perform bathing, grooming and basic care, and help residents with mobility as needed. Excellent communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have current Nurse Aide certification and be in good standing with the State of Louisiana Nurse Aide Registry.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
• Ensure resident safety at all times.
• Provide bathing, grooming, dressing, nail care and other personal care for assigned residents.
• Follow the resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse.
• Assist with lifting, moving and transferring residents.
• Answer call lights promptly and attend to resident needs.
• Assist or feed residents as required.
• Maintain resident cleanliness and dignity during toileting or incontinence care.
• Provide supportive and safe environments for residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

• To assure resident safety.
• Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, nail care of any residents assigned.
• Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse.
• Lift, move and transfer residents as required.
• Answer call lights in a timely manner.
• Assist or feed residents.
• Keep resident clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent care.
• Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents.
• Other duties as assigned.
