Priority Management at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa, LA is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to join the care team. You will assist residents with daily activities, promote safety, and support compassionate patient care across day and night shifts.

This full-time CNA role requires Louisiana certification and good standing on the LA Nursing Assistant Registry, with the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions in English.

Qualifications

• Must have current Nurse Assistant Certification in the State of Louisiana.
• Must be in good standing on the Nursing Assistant Registry in the State of Louisiana.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to complete assignments while having constant interruptions.
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Job Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
• Ensure resident safety.
• Bathe, dress, groom residents as assigned.
• Follow the charge nurse's assignment schedule.
• Lift, move and transfer residents as required.
• Respond to call lights in a timely manner.
• Assist or feed residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living in order to promote resident independence and dignity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• To assure resident safety.
• Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, nail care of any residents assigned
• Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse
• Lift, move and transfer residents as required
• Answer call lights in a timely manner
• Assist or feed residents
• Keep resident clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent care
• Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents
• Other duties as assigned
