Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa, LA is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to join our care teams on day or night shifts. The role emphasizes resident safety, daily living activities, and compassionate support.

Qualifications

• Must have current Nurse Assistant Certification in the State of Louisiana.
• Must be in good standing on the Nursing Assistant Registry in the State of Louisiana.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to complete assignments while having constant interruptions.
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Job Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living in order to promote resident independence and dignity.
• To assure resident safety.
• Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, nail care of any residents assigned
• Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse
• Lift, move and transfer residents as required
• Answer call lights in a timely manner
• Assist or feed residents
• Keep resident clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent care
• Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents
• Other duties as assigned
