Oceanside Center is seeking a Certified Medicine Aide to administer medications under a licensed nurse and ensure safety per state guidelines. Work in a supportive care environment for residents in our facility.

We offer full-time and part-time shifts, with a 3pm-11pm schedule and a $1,500 sign-on bonus for full-time, plus comprehensive benefits and pay flexibility as noted in the posted range.

Qualifications

• State-approved medication aide training is required.
• State-approved certified nursing assistant training is required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant with one year of CNA experience.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and administer routine medications as prescribed and document per policy.
• Maintain medication supply, clean and restock medicine carts and medicine room.
• Notify pharmacy of new medication orders and refills.
• Perform accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Certified Medicine Aide administers medications and medicated creams within the standards of practice as permitted by their Certification and per state regulations.

Position Highlights

• Prepare and administer routine and PRN medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and document administration per policy.
• Maintain medication supply, clean and restock medicine carts and medicine room.
• Notify pharmacy of new medication orders and refills.
• Perform accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state approved medication aide training course is required.
• Completion of a state approved certified nursing assistant training program is required.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with one year of experience as a CNA.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors to respond to their medical and physical needs.
