Morningside House Senior Living in Parkville, MD is seeking Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs) to join a team that supports residents in a memory care and assisted living setting. The role performs medication administration under nurse supervision and is part of a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to comply with state/federal regulations and facility policy.

Responsabilités

• Administers medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the five rights of medication administration and records all medications given.
• May take and record vital signs as required by medications or assigned.
• Documents medication administration and resident information in the computer system.
• Observes and reports any reactions or side effects to a licensed nurse immediately.
• Administers PRN medications in accordance with regulations and policy.
• Maintains infection control practices and universal precautions in daily tasks.
• Communicates with medical staff and nursing service as needed.
• Assists in maintaining the Medication Room and equipment in orderly condition.
