Heritage Hall Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing in Centralia, MO, seeks a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to provide safe medication administration and resident care within a skilled nursing setting. The role supports licensed nurses, administers meds, and assists with daily living activities to promote safety and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) course approved by the State of Missouri.
• Active CMT certification in good standing, with annual updates as required.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Verify resident identity prior to medication administration and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and promptly report adverse reactions or concerns.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff.
• Take and record vital signs and report abnormalities per facility policy.
• Identify medication shortages and immediately report concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, intake, and output as ordered.
• Support coworkers by providing assistance as needed; complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
