Job summary

NHC HealthCare West Plains in West Plains, Missouri, invites qualified Certified Medication Technicians (CMT) to join our team. The role covers AM and PM shifts with options for full-time or part-time schedules, in a supportive, family-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include preparing, administering, and charting medications, recording vital signs, and ensuring timely medication management while upholding compassionate care and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Missouri CMT certification required.
• Must be caring and a team player.
• Full-time or part-time schedules available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and chart medications by all routes except parental route.
• Chart vital signs, intake and output and monthly weights.
• Reorder medications as needed in timely manner.
• Monitor for drug discrepancies and store medications properly.

CMT Position Highlights:

• Prepare, administer, and chart medications by all routes except those given
  by the parental route.
• Chart vital signs, intake and output and monthly weights to assist the charge nurse.
• Reorder medications as needed in timely manner.
• Put medications away when received from pharmacy. Monitor for drug discrepancy.
