Job summary

NHC HealthCare West Plains in West Plains, MO is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our staffing team. The role includes preparing, administering, and charting medications, as well as monitoring vitals and patient weights under nurse supervision.

The position accommodates AM and PM shifts with options for full-time or part-time schedules. Missouri CMT licensure and a caring, team-oriented attitude are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess Missouri CMT (certified medication technician) certificate.
• Able to work AM/PM shifts.
• Must be caring, compassionate, and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and chart medications by all routes except those given parenterally.
• Chart vital signs, intake/output, and monthly weights to assist the charge nurse.
• Reorder medications as needed in a timely manner.
• Put medications away when received from pharmacy. Monitor for drug discrepancy.
