Schedule – 7am – 7pm, 7pm – 7am

Job Description – Full-Time

Salary Range – $16.00-$19.00/hr.

Certification: *** Certified Medication Aid (Texas) - This is a Mandatory Requirement - Please do not apply if you don't have one***

• Medication Aides/Techs will administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses to your supervisor.
• Medication Aides/Techs will make sure the medication supply room is organized and clean.
• Assist with medication cart audits and provide accurate counts of all medications.
• Helps ensure necessary medications are always available for residents, including ordering/re-ordering from the pharmacy and assisting with obtaining orders (prescriptions) for refills from the appropriate provider.
• Maintains residents’ records, charting any changes in resident’s physical condition and or behaviors and promptly reporting all changes to the supervisor.
• Maintains a clean, safe and orderly environment for the residents. Performs general housekeeping in resident bedroom, bathroom, laundry rooms, dining areas, kitchen and living space.
