Job summary

PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is seeking a part-time Day Shift medical technician to support reception and clinical tasks. Responsibilities include initial intake screening, taking vital signs, preparing examination areas, daily medication passes, and maintaining records.

On-site duties include answering calls, typing reports, and ensuring confidentiality with universal precautions. The role offers a two-week orientation with on-the-job training and shadowing with nursing staff, plus comprehensive

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved Certified Medication Technician program.
• Currently hold a Medication Technician Certification valid in the state.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and pleasant telephone manner.

Responsibilities

Openings Available: Part-time Day Shift (7a-7:30p and every other weekend)

Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Initial intake screening on new receptions
• Taking vital signs and completing all appropriate intake forms
• Preparing and maintaining examination and treatment areas for the facility
• Performing daily medication passes.
• Maintaining medication records
• Typing of various reports, letters, and memoranda
• Answering telephone and process calls
• Maintaining the filing system and confidentiality of information at all times
• Following universal precautions at all times
• Maintaining a pleasant working attitude
• Any/all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or delegated

This position provides a 2 week orientation period where you will be training on the job and shadowing with the nursing staff.

(Please note that the pay range is not a sliding scale based on experience; it reflects the base pay as well as the differentials offered between shifts.)
