Job summary

PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is recruiting for a full-time Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join the medical department at the Washington County Detention Center in Hagerstown, MD. The position is 36 hours per week with 2 twelve-hour shifts and 2 eight-hour shifts, typically 11a-7p or 11a-11p.

Responsibilities include intake screening, taking vitals, preparing treatment areas, and daily medication passes. Benefits include health care, 401k, PTO, sick leave, and shift/weekend differentials.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved Certified Medication Technician program.
• Currently hold a Medication Technician Certification valid in the state where the facility is located.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Pleasant telephone manner.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

PrimeCare Medical, Inc. (i.e., PCM) is a privately owned, physician-founded, nationally accredited correctional healthcare practice. We are actively recruiting for a Full-Time Certified Medication Technician (CMT)to work in the medical department at the Washington County Detention Center in Hagerstown, MD.

This full-time position is 36 hours per week. Shift would be 2 twelve-hour shifts and 2 eight-hour shifts a week, and the hours would be 11a-7p or 11a-11p.

Job Responsibilities:

• Hourly Base Rate is $19.50 and we offer Shift Differential in addition.

• Generous PTO package provided. Paid time off will accrue for a maximum accrual of nine (9) days (or 72 hours) per year. You are also eligible to accrue sick and safe leave benefits under Maryland’s Healthy Working Families Act (i.e., MDSSL). MDSSL accrues at a rate of one (1) hour for every thirty (30) hours of straight time worked, for a maximum annual accrual of sixty-four (64) hours.

Additional Compensation: In addition to the hourly pay rate PrimeCare Medical also offers Overtime Pay, Shift Differential and Weekend Differential compensation, Premium Holiday Pay, and Employee Referral Bonus opportunities.

(Please note that the pay range is not a sliding scale based on experience; it reflects the base pay as well as the differentials offered between shifts.)
