Job summary

Juniper Communities is seeking a certified Medication Aide for a full-time temporary role in a senior living setting in the United States. The position runs immediately through 12/13/2026, with pay starting at $24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include medication administration and documentation, assisting residents with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and coordinating with the care team and families. CPR/First Aid and state-approved training are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified medication aide with experience passing meds.
• Completed an approved medication administration course.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, continence, transportation, appointments, dining).
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Communicate effectively with team, residents, and families.
• Provide excellent customer service.

MUST BE A CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE WITH EXPERIENCE PASSING MEDS

Pay: Starting at $24.00 per hour

Role: Care aides are a key part of the Juniper team. They provide physical support to help residents stay engaged, safe, and independent.

Responsibilities:

Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.

Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, use of the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.

• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.

Effectively communicate with other members of the team, residents, and families.

Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of an approved medication administration course.
• Successful completion of a nurse aide training course if state regulated.
• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
• Successful completion of a CPR and First Aid course.
