Job summary

Coweta Care and Rehab is hiring Certified Medication Aides to support resident care on weekend double shifts. You will administer medications, monitor residents, and document treatments under RN supervision. A CMA certification with active Oklahoma CNA is required, with prior LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a state-issued exam.
• Active CMA certification with CNA in OK required.
• Six months LTC experience preferred.
• Must maintain functional email and phone for communication.
• Ability to react quickly in emergencies.
• Clear English communication, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by a physician under nurse supervision.
• Record all medications administered and monitor resident conditions.
• Observe and report adverse drug reactions to licensed staff.
• Take and record vital signs as required.
• Respond to resident call lights and anticipate needs.
• Maintain safety and quality in resident care.
