Highland Park Health Care in Okmulgee, OK is seeking a full-time Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer oral and topical medications under supervision of a licensed nurse. You will follow physician orders, adhere to state/federal regulations, and maintain facility policies.

The role emphasizes accurate medication administration, strong observation, and exceptional communication with residents and staff. Join a dedicated team delivering quality care.

Competenze

• State certification as a nurse aide is required.
• State approved medication administration certification.
• Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide.
• Highly developed observation skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Mansioni

• Administers medication as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with any state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of the “five rights” of medication administration.
• Records the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately.
• Observes for and reports any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shift.
• Administers PRN medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and consistent with facility policy.
