Job summary

Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living in Virginia is hiring caregivers aides to support residents with daily living and clinical needs. The role emphasizes compassionate care, safety, and teamwork in a continuing care retirement community.

Qualified applicants will have a current CNA certification for the state, current Medication Administration certification, and be at least 18 years old. CPR certification is preferred, with at least one year of experience in CNA and medication administration

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current CNA certification for the state you will work in.
• Current Medication Administration certification.
• Minimum of 1 year CNA experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year Medication Administration experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Assisting residents in activities of daily living.
• Implementing residents personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging.
• Providing assistance with resident activities and programs.
• Working with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter.
• Administration of medication to residents.
