Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Larimore, ND seeks a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living support under a charge nurse. You will administer medications per state rules, monitor vital signs, and communicate changes to the nursing team.

The role requires a minimum 3 months in long-term care, with 18+ years age and GED preferred. Premium pay and weekend/evening differentials apply. This PRN position includes shift variability and minimum 30 hours monthly.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred).
• Licensed medication administration tasks are delegated under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with meals, grooming, bathing, and mobility as needed.
• Maintain clean living areas and support wellness activities.
