The CMA reports to the supervisor on duty and Wellness Director, ensuring safe, accurate medication practices and compassionate care. Ideal candidates will hold state-required CMA certification and demonstrate English proficiency, physical stamina, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Completion of drug testing and background check upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers or assists with medication administration per physician orders and MAR.
• Documents medications administered on MAR per company policy; verify accuracy.
• Conducts shift change reports and maintains narcotic security.
• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Maintains cleanliness of residents' rooms and reports safety or sanitation violations.
• Operates basic medical equipment and communication devices as required.
