Job summary

Fiesta Park Wellness & Rehabilitation in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to work under the direct supervision of the charge nurse. The CMA ensures timely and accurate med passes to maintain high-quality resident care.

The role requires English communication skills, prior patient care experience preferred, and a valid Medication Aide certification. The CMA will follow charting guidelines, report changes in patient condition, and participate in required trainings.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English through speech and writing.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.

Responsibilities

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.
• Participates in all assigned meetings, trainings, education and in-service as required.
• Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.
