Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to support nursing staff under the charge nurse, ensuring timely and accurate med passes and high-quality resident care in Los Alamos, NM. The CMA will follow charting guidelines, report any changes to the Patient Care Supervisor, participate in trainings, and maintain current CMA certification.

English communication skills, prior patient care experience, and CMA certification are required for this full-time role in a

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both speech and writing.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.

Responsibilities

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.
• Participates in all assigned meetings, trainings, education and in-service as required.
• Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.
• Maintain current Medication Aide certification.
