Job summary

You will ensure accurate documentation, maintain medication carts, and safeguard resident safety at all times.

Responsibilities include complying with all policies, reporting abuse or concerns, and collaborating with nurses to support resident care.

Qualifications

  • CMA certification in good standing with the state.
  • CPR certification current.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work beyond normal hours as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with the Facility’s personnel, safety, and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Comply with the nursing department’s policies and procedures.
  • Report abuse/neglect to Administrator/DON or Nurse Manager on Call.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
  • Document and report medication administration as ordered by the physician.
  • Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and room.
  • Protect resident privacy during medication administration.
  • Document medication charting per policy.
  • Follow policy on storing, labeling, and dating medications.
